suspension drop???

I'm looking into dropping my car but hate suspension work and don't know what is all involved in doing this. My Grand Prix sits 5.5 inches off the ground right now. I want to lower it about 2.5 - 3 inches. What could I expect to pay for this and what else must be done. Obviosly I'll need new wheels and tires but what about shocks, springs, and other suspension components? How does a suspension drop compare to a simple spindle drop? Thanks for any help?

Re: suspension drop???

I doubt you can lower your Grand Prix more than 2.2" safely.

The lowest springs made for your car that I can find are Intrax (1.7") - http://www.drivewire.com/performance...ngsprings.html

Also, you'll need to get some performance shocks, the only ones I can find for your car are KYB's which run $219/set at www.shox.com
