Question stuck clutch

I have a 93 honda prelude manual transmisson h22a engine. Just recently my clutch pedal has no resistance at all to it. one day its fine then litterally the next day I step on it it goes right in and stays in. I have to pull it out with my hand. the car still starts up when the clutch is in only like usual. plus you can't put it in gear either. with these symtoms what would you say the problem is. Is it a simple job that I can do myself or do you suggest a shop takes care of it.

you need either a clutch master cylinder or clutch slave cylinder. Best bet is going to be just to replace both while you are there.

Re: stuck clutch

Check your fluid. mine did the same and all it was was the hose going from the resevoir to the master cylinder.

I have a 93 H22 Prelude aswell.and had the same problem. The same thing was going on with mine untill it went completly dead on me while I was driving. I have pics LOL. I was with my girl that day and we were going lasertagging
well off topic. So mine was the exact problem and it was the Clutch Master cylinder, only 20 something, no more than 30 even after taxes, but yeah if you wanna spend more and think you need it also get the slave cylinder.
