99 Windstar has no speedo, abs light on, and #10 fuse blown

I have replaced the brake pressure sensor and have unplugged the a/c low pressure switch and unplugged the speed sensor. I still have the same result, the #10 fuse blows, sometimes it takes thirty minutes, sometimes it blows only a few seconds later. Has anyone else had this same problem and was able to fix it? I am running out of ideas and fuses. Please help if you can.

You might try disconnecting one or both of the following to see if the fuse-blowing stops:
. Speed control servo. You may have to lift the engine air filter canister to get access.
. Brake pressure switch. The one on master cylinder.

Just anote to see if you have found out what is causing the #10 fuse to blow Please let me know if you hear anything thanks

When my 99 windstar had same problems I replaced the cruise control cut off sensor on the bottom of brake master cylinder. It was leaking brake fluid and shorting the #10 fuse circuit. need to replace corroded plug also. Haven't had problem since.

He has replaced the brake pressure switch already.
Although...I would try unplugging it.....just to totally eliminate it.....especially as it is very easy to do.

VERY DANGEROUSE ON WET ROADS IS A FAULTY ABS SENSOR all four sensors work together as one tire slips skid it frees itsself the opposite tire then starts braking so on and so forth one bad abs sensor will throw u off the road if you pull of your wheel front tire you will see the abs sensor ea wheel has one chances are u have a cracked abs sensor from the wheel right near the brake hose mounts in with one bolt its cracked or broken causing faulty speedometer probably but definatly causing abs light to be on the fuse problem may be all linked in one
