Code 36 1992 Dakota stalls then restarts

Ok I've seen similar probs like mine but no code 36. It's a 3.9 fuel injected 1992 Dakota 4x4. Going down the road it will start running rough, sometimes stalling, but restarts and is fine for a few more miles. I have not been able to duplicate this problem in the garage. Have changed the plugs, wires, coil and distributor. Just found out how to ck the codes and it shows a code 36. Fuel pump went once about 2 years ago and symptoms were totally different. Fuel filter was replaced then too. Wires under windshield washer were checked and are fine. Grounds were unhooked and cleaned and reconnected. Whats a code 36?

After further review, it was a code 12, 15, and 55. Disconnected battery, checked speed sensor connections. New test drive, same problem but no codes. I'm now wondering how to test and clean fuel injectors. The problem disapeared when I approached my garage but staled 3 times on the way home. Restarted all 3 times but reapeared quickly.

HA did you ever find out what was roung with your dakota caus i got a 1994 dakota that is doing the same thing and the dam thing does like every mile or so but i dont now what roung what was roung with yours.
