Re: Remind Anyone Of Anything?

i thinnk the tranny is kinda like the one i saw on the aston martin db9
it has like a cruise mode (automatic) for city driving, etc.
then there is the sequential mode (paddle shifting) for mountain driving or racing.
its a ferrari. i just cant see them slapping a auto tranny on a car like this.

Ummm... MR platforms drift easier then FR platforms.

This might be the car that extends my car lust. Right now
Above Nissan made cars that I lust for are

Ferrari F40
Ferrari F50
Ferrari GG50(if this car is everything that the F40 and F50 were)

Re: Remind Anyone Of Anything?

I personally have very little respect for the Ferrari s, they do not make cars with manuals anymore. Fuck sequential, there is NO skill involved in shifting, a caveman can drive it. If BMW never made the M5 in manual I would loose respect for them too, but they did, so the are still in my favorites list.
Porsche totaly powns ferrari, they got the style, the performance and the laxury*.

And that thing remind me of a vette/skyline mix.

Re: Remind Anyone Of Anything?

this is kinda off topic, but i dont know if i would want to have a ferrari that was manual. I drove a ferrari simulator that was like 3D, its sweet how it like surrounds you, its like your actually driving the car without the feeling of 150+mph lol. It was so hard for me to go 1-2 gear, i missed it so many time because the gearing was so damn perfect and direct...just look at the pic! I hated when i put paddle shit mode on, i cant steer and click the damn thing at the same time. I liked the manual one in all the gears except the 1-2 and 3-4 shifts.. Its fun in a simulator to drop the clutch at a really high RPM in and do tons of stuff you wouldnt normally do in your own car, let alone a ferrari...

Re: Remind Anyone Of Anything?

generally mr's tend to slide easier but are much touchier and are harder to hold the drift with...
if mr's were better to drift with d1gp would be full of them, but guess what they arent

There actuallly is one or two NSX's in BM Hi.

MRs are really gonna swing out under braking or lift throttle where your reducing the traction of the wheels but the inertia is still back there. but, they won't respond well to any technique used to get the quick transitions needed to place in D1/FD/BM
