House On Haunted Hill
The 13th Ghost
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Ring 1 & 2
The Grudge - that damn growl is freaky as fuck!
Exorcist
Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows is pretty good, it makes you think a lot more and it's not just some dumb bitch crying in front of a camera
Seven but that's more of a suspense.

You'll almost have to rent some older movies though, Stephen King movies and such, because these new movies can't even make me jump, well the old ones don't make me jump either. The only movie that remotely scared me was TCM because I sat in the front row all by myself for like the first hour then waited for a really scary scene then jumped up and ran out of the theater screaming and came back and sat with my friends, yeah...kind of a boring movie for me to do that. Nothing "jumps" me anymore so yeah...

Fast & Furious movies are also quite scary...because kids think it's real...

On the games.. people have forgotten Resident Evil. The movies suck but the games are scary as hell, really good buys if you have a Gamecube and really the only reason for me to want to have one. RE4 isnt that scary but the games before that, are.

Havent ever played RE3, I didnt finish RE0 but that was pretty cool. Thing about RE is how its camera is fixated to scare you.

Re: Anybody know of any good scary movies?

Same with SH and the freakinradio static of when something is close. Of course, to achieve any kind of scariness, at least for those that it takes something, surround sound is required. nothing like the creature/zombie thing slugging around behind you

Re: Anybody know of any good scary movies?

Ill never forget the first time i played RE2, was about midnight when i started. Got to the police station and the part where the zombies break through the windows to grab you scared the living shit out of me. RE and Silent Hill are the only games that have ever actually scared me. Movies dont really do it. I get more into the games.

Did you laugh at the bit where the horse jumps off the boat and comes out the back as red froth? Because I cracked up laughing for a good couple of minutes

Re: Anybody know of any good scary movies?

Let see.... Event horizon is a pretty good one in my opinion(saw it in the theaters and it scared the shit outta me). If you want slash and gore I'd reccomend the Sleep Away Camp Trilogy. Here's one that isn't scary but great all the same, The Mechanic I fucking love Charles Bronsen. Session 9 is another good one, didn't think it was really scary but a great movie. Original House on Haunted Hill, The Last Man on Earth. If you want cheese just let me know, I've got a thing for really bad horror movies. Peace-

Re: Anybody know of any good scary movies?

Stephen King's "IT" was pretty scary, Dawn of the dead was good, The new amityville horror was pretty good, Saw, house of 1000 corpses, devil's rejects.
