I commend him for putting up with all the greif thrown at him. Most people would have took their questions elsewhere by now. We need to back off all the little stupid shit and concentrate on the problem, fixing his car. After all, that's what we're here for, to help people, right?

I hate to hear about a 2.4 having problems, they are great engines. With only 35,000mi I doubt that it's carbon build up. It could be the EGR valve, after the motor swap, my 2.2 would consistently miss-fire while cruising, after I unhooked the EGR solenoid the problem nearly disappeared. Come to find out I have a spark plug that has been previously crossthreaded and is a little past halfway in.

I don't know if he ever found the problem but it may help you, funny how at the end of the thread he calls the problem the "entity." Now Entity34 has the "entity."

The flaming doesn't bother me.. I've been through that a million times.. And the 4k machine is the shops issued from gm.. I didn't buy it.. my 100.00 machine so far tells me the same as theres..lol.. Gonna get a new computer for it.. and check out the egr.
