Question fuse problem

recently i found that my stereo an dome ligths wasn't working, I found that the problem was a fuse, then I remplace it but is still hapening the same problem every time when i change que fuse, any idea?

there's probably a bad ground somewhere, make sure you go to a auto parts store and have them check your battery connection and alternator status just for kicks to see if anything could be wrong w/ that

if that doesn't help, the next step is to go to a mechanic...

Is it blowing the fuze or does a new fuze just not work.

it is blowing the fuze just in about 10 secs. after I put a new one.

...kinda curious as to what fuse your supposed to use...where are you getting the fuses from and what type of fuse are you using?

I don't know about fuses but I just took the original to the autozone and they sold me a box whit 10 fuses but the number in the top says -10- then I try -15- but it is still blowing it up

unfortunately i'm no wiring expert but using a bigger fuse is the wrong thing to do, make sure it is the apporpriate fuse (check a manual) and if you still have problems take it to a mechanic

if you use a bigger fuse, it allows more electricity to get through which could cause a fire or for you to roast some wires, which is even worse, thats why houses have those fuse boxes

Hey also if anyone knows anything about the electrical my gas gauge isn't lighting up... Is it a fuse or something that needs to be replaced??

The backlight is probably out. Not a hard fix if you know how to intstall aftermarket gauges. Find out the bulb type, and replace it...it should be fairly simple.

I have no idea how to get my dash off to get to the gauges... I've had my after market gauges for ever and have no idea how to put them in...

If it keeps blowing fuses you may have a short in a wire that is causing it to blow
