Question 1991 olds 98
someone tried to steal my car they didnt get it cause it wouldnt start i guess is it because they didnt have a key cause the horseshoe was broke off. i was just wondering. i have to start my car with a screwdriver now and i also still have to use they key. its shut off sometimes. what seem to be the problem?

It need to be repaired, new ign swich and rack mechanism to switch, you are there looking at your damaged steering column right?
