frontier won't start

My 1998 frontier won't start! I even put a new battery in it and I don't even get a clicking sound. I do hear the fuel pump energize,but that's about it. does anyone have an idea what I should look for? any responces will greatly appreciated!! D. adams,(dead nissan in new england)
