94 olds cutlas supreme wont start

car was fine. drove to college ,it sat for one week,.got in, wont start. turns over, pump runs. had it towed home. charged battery for one night and it started the next day ran real well all day til night ,transmission was not shifting properly , needed fluid so filled it, got in the car and it wont start again, here is the weird thing when you turn on the key the pump whines and stops, you try to start the car, it wont start, turn off the key and the pump continues to run,even with the key out of the switch. there is also a noise at the engine that kind of sounds like a vacuum leak. the pump does finally stop. have smelled fuel so i think it is getting it. cant figure out what it is. also replaced the battery. can anyone help.

You need to confirm spark at the plugs and pulse at the injectors one or both are most likel missing or the fuel pump pressure is too low. You may need professional help with this unless you have the test equipment to go forward.
