thats his problem isnt it? yes anything is possible when it comes to cars. if you can cut and weld then yes anything will work.

I'm gonna agree with these guys... but that's a helluva lot of money... you'd have to turn the engine sideways... put the transmission in it... a driveshaft... rear axles... all that good stuff... it's a helluva project... I guess some people have more time and money than I do...

ah, I'm sorry... I just re-read the first post... when he said "Pontiac Trans" I assumed Trans-am... I guess it was the first thing that came to mind... Again, I'm sorry and I stand corrected...

yes trans-am's are RWD, however he is going to put a pontiac trans in it. Trans is short for transmission. No where does he say anything about swapping an engine.
