It brought the photo to the attention of me and at least one other person who had previously missed it. A worthwhile bump if you ask me.

Why such a Nazi? The odd thread being bumped up isn't going to ruin the forum or your day, so best just leave it be and move on.

oh god, RELAX will you!! So what if someone finds a thread that they haven't seen before, likes the content and wishes to thank the thread starter?

It seems on a couple of occasions (this included) that, if someone likes something that Erik has quoted / started / commented on, then you go on the defensive and have to slate them. You have both contributed great things to this forum, helping to make it what it is today - Negativity will drive people away. Constructive criticism is surely a better format and the way to move forward
