Nice ride! When you finally get it make sure that you check the appropriate fluids. Oil, trans fluid, coolant and power steering fluid. This is just to make sure that everything is topped off and ready to run.

heckuva deal. i searched the entire state of texas to get a gt with 60k on it for 8500, that was the absolute best deal. so yes, i am jealous. but you got a great car and should enjoy it for a long time.

Re: i bought my gtp today!!!

ok nice. sounds like a good deal. thanks all. thats strange jimmy, most grand prixs iv seen have been from texas. i was actually joking about that recently, i was saying that texans seem to love gtps ha ha. thanks for the support. it will be delivered tomorrow, and i have 1 question. im told all fluids will be changed, but for 7k, i dont care, whats an extra $100. my question is... how do i check change the blower oil? like iv said, im used to turbo 231s, but i heard the blower needs its own oil. is this true? where does it go, and what kind of oil? how much?i have no owners manual, so im sorry if this sounds stupid. im a fan of synthetic all aound, how do you guys feel about snthetic in a gtp? i appreciate all the help, and im sure i will be posting many basic questions in the next few days as i get a feel for the new gp.

Re: i bought my gtp today!!!

To change the supercharger oil you'll need a turkey baster or some kinda pump to extract the old oil. The dealership or zzperfromance.com will have the oil you need, 2 bottles.

on the snout you see a allen bolt , thats where the oil goes. gm specific oil. kinda like animal fat or some shit. stinks real bad after being used.

i use mobil one synthentic oil w/ the mobil one m201 filter.

good luck
