I have no clue what's going on
For the past month now, when I'm running my heater in my car and I press down on the brakes, I hear a weird rattling noise coming from the passenger side. Its almost like a chirping sound. It only happens when the heater is on and I brake. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, I'm all out of answers.
Thanks

Re: I have no clue what's going on
From the sound of it, you may have a blower motor going bad. When the motor shaft bushings go bad, the motor squeaks/chirps, and yours might be just starting to go, and it only chirps when lateral forces are applied (like hitting the brakes).

Re: I have no clue what's going on
The only correlation that I can think of is it may be vacuum related.
Various vacuum actuators are used for the HVAC system. These are fed by engine vaccum off the supercharger or intake manifold. Also brakes use vacuum to the booster. So you might check all the vacuum line connections under the dash. The main vacuum lines will be visible by the blower motor assembly. There is a bracket that holds wiring and the vacuum lines. From there it branches off to the actuators.
