Re: Best Air Filter

the AEM cold air intake should already come w/ a K&N filter, K&N filter is the most preferred, i don't kno about BEST but it lasts a long time and works really good

And if it doesnt, it comes with a 1 million mile warranty...you might just be the first person to hit them up with that.

At a local performance shop, there was a little air-flow test thing they had set up. There was a stock, K&N, and a green filter much like the K&N. The green filter actually flowed more air (not by much, but it did flow more). I cant remember the name of it. I think it was like "mean green" or something like that. Either way, you arent going to notice a difference between the green one and the K&N unless you are looking for like .05HP on a dyno. You WILL notice performance over a stock filter though.

Re: Best Air Filter

I'd say K&N. Have had K&N on a couple of my car and they've been great.

Re: Best Air Filter

but like i said, you shouldn't need to buy a filter since one will come w/ the intake

The AEM one is basicly a K&N, so don't replace it. It works great. Clean it every few months, and it will last a long time.
