Friends 6th Gen.
A friend of mine has a 6th Gen. Celica, it's got like 120K+ on it, and he wants some serious performance. Money is sort of an issue, but, if he can plan what he wants/needs, and set a price, he can get the cash. What would be the best route to go? A full swap is an option.

Re: Friends 6th Gen.
full swap then! baddest 6 gen is the GT-four...w 3sgte JDM engine, thats the most common, serious stream. And then build from there...see post about turbos and engine swap by 91celicast, its an excerpt...go to http:/www.toyotacelicaonline.com for more info, or http://6gc.net for some 6 gen ideas...etc etc etc

Re: Friends 6th Gen.
the 3sgte swap is the most effective. you can find a clip for about 2-3k and if you get the full clip and do all the work urself you shouldnt have to spenmd much more than that. the options for which 3sgte to get are as follows.
1st gen- 190hp, cheapest 2nd gen- 200hp, most common jdm 2nd gen- 225hp, prolly best choice 3rd gen- 260hp, rarest, never released in the u.s.
