zc vs. D 15 All Help Needed

Ok i was wondering if i should go through all the problems of fixing my d15 mpfi or sould i just get a new harness and drop a zc in my 90 dx?
Q. how difficult is it to do the swap on a budget ?
Q. who can help with the wiring harness.?

also this is a problem on my tranny: to put it reverse i have to slightly rev and drop the clutch/shift to R and it gives a slight grind. when i pop it out of R its the same as putting it in R. when i put it in 1st it nromal again (with the massive high rpm slippage due to the messed up clutch) .

Also where is the best place to buy in the Dallas metroplex area ?

What are the best starter mods to first put in a zc ? this also includes oil/filters any thing to get it up and running??

The amount of money you would spend on a few bolt-ons to get your DPFI 1.5 up to maybe even 100 flywheel HP, you could have just bought a ZC..

zc = hard to find parts for. You should get a d16a6

yeah d16z6 is pretty nice..i'd love to do a swap with that engine and bolt it up to my 4-speed - or get another 4-speed with overdrive...that'd rock!

Re: zc vs. D 15 All Help Needed

yea but if your on a budget a z6 or y8 is more expensive, you need a conversion harness for obd1 (assuming your obd0) and you need an ecu like p28 wich are hard to find and spendy. and the whole myth about zc parts are hard to find. totally untrue. there is not one part on a zc that you cant get. shit the block is identical to any other d-series. and they make cams and cam gears and intake manifolds for them too so im not sure what parts are the mystery parts. of all the people around that have zc's theres bound to be parts for them. i say go with the sohc or dohc zc or a a6. all will bolt in and be very cheap and easy.
