Angry Can't unlock 96 caravan with key from outside

I have a 96 Caravan and I can't unlock the the drivers side door or the passengers side door from the outside with a key. When I put the key in the slot it wont turn. This was a problem with the passenger side door and the rear door since we bought it but it just started not turning in the drivers side door yesterday. I think it might be freezing but I cant open the passenger side door in the summer either. All I can do now is open the side door and then open the passengers door and I'm worried that this will happen to that door also and I won't be able to get into the car at all. Please help.

Re: Can't unlock 96 caravan with key from outside

Try spraying a lubricant of some sort into the keyholes and see if that helps.

It could also be that your key is worn out. We had to change the key we were using because although the doors worked fine suddenly the ignition would not turn on our 92 caravan, I thought great, bad ignition, got the spare keys out and everything works fine now.
