99 Prelude or 06 Civic Si?
The new Civic Si is out and I have been debating if it would be worth trading it for my 99 Prelude. I once owned a 00 Civic Si but trade it after a year for my Prelude. I have no complaints of the Prelude its nice and fast but the new Civic Si looks amazing. Hopefully I can test drive one this weekend maybe that would help me decide if my Prelude is worth keeping.

Re: 99 Prelude or 06 Civic Si?
That is a tough call. They both look good, I personally think the lude still has a look all it's own, and I like it better. The interior of the Si is nasty, I really like it. The stock performance specs I found were 7.2 0-60 and 15.1 in the 1/4 mile. These were time reported when edmunds tested the car, Honda claims 0-60 in 6.7, but 7.2 was the best they could do. It also only has 139 ft/lbs of torque, but it is lighter. Stock times are almost exactly the same, so I guess it's really all preference. Depending on your plans for the car, maybe wait a year or so till there's some aftermarket support for the new civic.

Test drive and see what you think.
