Thumbs up oil gauge reading

Hello All, I have a '92 CV. In the past week the Oil Gauge has been fluctuating from normal to a (NON-READING i.e. when u would TURN the vehicle off) and then normal again. This is happening while driving or at a stand still. Any info or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: oil gauge reading

Your oil pressure "gauge" is not one. It is an "idiot gauge", it either reads pressure or nothing. It is VERY common for the switches to go bad on high mileage/older vehicles and that will cause the symptoms you describe.
