Unhappy My Fiero Died!!!

I just got done driving for a 1/2hr and I pulled into the parking lot and just as I got to the parking place,"Every thing shut down!!" I put it in park and tried starting it again and nothing happened. There is no power in anything except for the things that are wired direct to the battery(interior lights, exterior lights). I turn the key and "nothing at all" not even a click. It's an '84 SE 2m4 automatic.

Please Help!!!
I have class Tomorrow and I commute.

Re: My Fiero Died!!!

Too many potential problems to consider. Start by carefully checking fuses. When you turn the key to start, do you hear the fuel pump? Does the starter click?

There is nothing happening when I turn the key. I have checked all fuses and everyone is like new. I have no dash lights, wipers, ignition, but I have a horn and lights out and in. When it happened I put it in park and I tried taking it out but it wouldn't budge, but after a while I could take it in an out of park no problem.

Re: My Fiero Died!!!

alternator sounds like...since you said all the battery-powered stuff works fine. did you snap a belt? if not the alternator may have just gone bad, happened to my mom's 99 expedition a couple years ago.

I got it fixed! I took it to a shop and found out the problem. The bottom two fuse-able links in the electrical harness burn out.

Re: My Fiero Died!!!

I'm glad you got it fixed and it was a "relatively" easy repair and not too expensive.
