Neon's in sub box question

Ok I have a bandpass box with the mirror and plexiglass front. It came with neons on the inside right. Well on the back it has the power and ground connectors and toggle switch, then on top it says 12 Volt only. I was wondering If I could run the ground from the neon connector to my amp and the power to the power lead on my amp also. Im running a 465 watt amp. Im just learning about audio and electrical stuff so I would appreciate it if someone could let me know if this is possible. Thank you.

It's probably possible but i wouldn't do it just cuz the power from the amp isn't necessarily always the same all the time.

Dude your not going to look at the subs when they play. But yes I think you can hook it up like that, I don't see a reason to why not.

Re: Neon's in sub box question

Whats this whole business about your not gonna be looking at your subs while they're on? I can't count the times when I had my old bandpass(it also had a mirrored bottom and a plexiglass front) after i installed a neon that I would pop the tailgate and have that shit on. Whenever me and my friends who do something outside and i'd just backup and grab the remote to the deck. Peace-

What does that have to do with flashing neons? And you need to phrase your sentences differently, took me a minute to get what you are saying.
