Car Auctions...

Anyone know of any car auctions around the Philadelphia area and how cheap can you actually expect to get a car?

Mods-- If you have an area that this will fit better...please feel free to move it. I was debating this area or the regional area.

Re: Car Auctions...

you can get A car at auction for $500. It won't necessarily be a very nice car though. Prices at auction tend to run about 10% lower than classifieds or dealership prices since you don't get a very good chance to inspect the car. but do what you can, start it up, ask to roll it back and forth to see how the transmission feels, look under the hood for shoddy repairwork or leaks, etc
