DVD shorting out(wiring question?)

I just put a jensen dvd player in my car. Everything seems to be hooked up fine. The only problem is when i put the volume up loud, when ever the base in the hits, the screen and the lights in my car flicker to the beat. I was woundering why my car is losing power. Could the ground wire not be good enough? could it be the alternater? or could i need a little amp to draw more power?
Lemme know wat u think, thanks

Re: DVD shorting out(wiring question?)

Don't quite know a ton about electronics, but it sounds like you might need a more powerful alternator...

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
