So I have no heat (or air of any kind) in my car. The knobs and levers are all turned on, etc. but no air is blowing. The rear defrost is working but I also, obviously, need the front to work as it's getting pretty cold and icy and dangerous to drive without a clear windshield.
![]() I'm not sure if it's an issue with my fan, a fuse, or something else altogether. Any help is GREATLY appreciated and let me know if you need more information, thank you! |

Re: '90 Accord heater/fan not working... HELP!
My 90 accord blower motor had a bit of a noise before it went out. Kind of a rattle, but once you got it going, it was OK. I would smack the glovebox, down low, real hard, and it would come on. After a few weeks of this, it quit. I am not sure how to tell you how to diagnose it for sure, other than mine had the early warning signs of failing.
If you do have to replace it, it is not real hard to get out, just a little time consuming. the only hint I can give you, is to pull up the carpet on the passenger side, and take out the cars computer, (with the battery disconnected). This will give you sufficient room to get the box to slide out from under the dash. The entire blowerbox comes out as a unit, then you divide it on the floor to replace the motor. Good luck!! |

Re: '90 Accord heater/fan not working... HELP!
Check fuse no. 18 (30a). It could also be the blower relay but more likely the motor. I gather it doesn't even work at the high speed setting.
