disable the alarm?

hey guys, i have a 98 camaro.. and i hate alarms.. is there any way to disable it?

Pull the fuse? That's what I did in my Avenger...thing was screwy.

is there a fust for just the alarm?

Like i dont want to like pull a fuse, and have my airbags come out or something

Look in the fuse block, should say ALARM or something to that effect...and then pull it out.

i dont like pulling fuses if i dont have to...in another thread i had posted someone replied and said that the amp i was looking for was "in the spare tire area behind the shock sensor for the alarm. it is attached to a bracket that mounts on the fender bracing, kinda hard to spot unless you are looking for it" so pop the hatch and turn those plastic locking screws holding the plastic piece on the passengers side that is above the spare tire and jack and take it off and you should see it there....dunno hope that helps!
