Moonroof?
Hey guyzzzz!
I am absolutely dying to put a moonroof into my 99 neon...how much does it cost to do that? I wouldn't be thinking about this if my car wasn't in good shape, but for a 99 neon it shines like it was brand new and I take such good care of it. It would be a moonroof not a sunroof right? Because I know that one of those cannot be put into a car after it has been built. Thanks!  Jen

The power sunroof was a $895 option for the '99 neon. I would assume that if you want a powered sunroof/moonroof that it would be more $ to install it aftermarket. If you don't mind cheesy, you could probably get by for $250-$300 for a non-powered flip-up unit.

most shops in my area charge about 1100 for the in-vehicle style, and 650-800 for the flip out style. (motorized on both)

yes indeed it is. buy one with it already installed. why pay that much for something that you can already have installed?
