99 Civic trans shudder

Hello all.

I have a question someone might be able to help me with.
I have a 99 civic with the auto trans. Only when starting from a stop, first gear shudders when I take off. If I speed up very slowly (I do mean slowly), it doesn't shudder. No other gears or times does the trans. do this. I have checked the trans fluid and it seems fine. What do you think may be the problem? Would trans. fix stuff work that you get from auto zone????
PS. The idle is fine- rpms do not drop when accelerating.

Re: 99 Civic trans shudder

I had this problem in my old civic, a new tranny took care of it. I believe some one else also had this problem on the boards a while back and it was his rear motor mount.

One more thing to note. When I drive in the morning (cold start), it runs fine until it warms up a little.
