1st Ticket, Driving in stupid bus lane.

So after more than a year of traffic on the Staten Island Expressway even during non rush hours because they were building a 4th lane and taking up one lane of the 3 lanes to do so they finally finish the 4th god damne lane only to find out THEY MADE IT A BUS LANE. So im sitting in 10 mph traffic with this fucking wide open lane not even being used by shit 10 minutes after I paid 8$ on a fucking bridge built 30 years ago we paid for already like 20 times over. SO, Im like ef this; I put the car in 1st and switch gears at 6000 rpm (95's accord ex v6 auto) and I stopped at 80 (it was raining). After passing two miles of traffic I see a top of a truck in my horizon and I slowed down to 10 mph slowly so I dont slide and by that time I see a navy Corwn Vic behind it, im like well he prolly dint see me or w.e. While Im changing lanes into the efed up traffic he comes out of his car and points at me while he is walking towards the traffic (note that we goin mad slow) I ignored him thinkinh he might dissapear but he kept barking anf I couldn't run away. I wait 15 mins and he issues me:

"Unsafe lane changing" and he said something about saying its a minimum ticket like its less of a charge or some bs.
I didnt do anything UnfreakenSafe (that he knows of). I go to the NYC Department of Mother Fuckers website and it says thats 3 points.

I have my license for 5 months (this ticket dont affect 'probation' though) and I need to renew my insurance y Dec. 4th which I can do know.

My question is wether I should take the 4 point reduction class and if this shit will affect my insurance for next 6 months or whatever.

Is it clearly marked as a bus lane? If it is, just pay the ticket. But renew your insurance first, as tickets usually don't appear on insurance (if at all) until you are convicted.

Yea I just sent the stupid credit card number and pleaded guilty (of being fucked by the cronies in NY). I also have paid for the 6 month insurance renewal.

My question is about the points. Should I take the 4 point reduction class or wait?

Can't hurt to take it now, it'll give you ammo for if/when the insurance company finds out.
