Adjust Frontier Headlights

Hi -

Can someone advise as to how to adjust the headlights on a 2000 Frontier Desert Runner? After some front end body work, the headlights are way out of alignment, and my husband would like to adjust them himself.

Thanks for any help!

Sarah

The only adjustments are up and down. If you look right behind the headlight mounting bracket, you will see a (I think) 8mm nut that you can reach with a small open end or box wrench. If I remember correctly, the passenger side is lowered by turning the bolt clockwise and vise-versa for the drivers side. I might have that backwards, so park in front of a wall or something to experiment first. I bought some cheapo "HID"
lights off ebay for my 04, and besides being so weak I couldn't see squat at night, they messed up the aiming really bad. Just a buyer beware if you happen to see those things anywhere for sale.
