grinding noise coming from hood
I got an '02 sunfire i believe 2.2 L and it's an automatic. there's this loud grinding noise coming from the hood of my car when i'm going under about 40 mph ... any suggestions to what it might be??

Check your ac compressor or tension pully.Common problem with the 2.2.

Well I must say you guys definitely made me worry less ... I'm going to be taking her into the shop on friday and hopefully it's a simple thing to fix.

Your hood latch may also need adjusted down.That would be more of a bump bump sound though.
