95 runs fine and then dies

95 b'ville runs good for about 20 minutes and then tach drops to 0 and it dies. if it sits for a while, it starts up and runs fine.. Has been showing a CPS communcation failure and running rich. Any ideas, should I try the CPS or torch the car????

Sounds like the ckps, if there is no saprk and injector pulse when this happens. This would not cause it to run rich though.

Re: Re: 95 runs fine and then dies

I wiggled some wires and got it home. I'll dig deeper tomorrow and try to find it. It ran fine on the way home. Maybe a broken wire. Thanks, mike
