ka trans compadibility Q

Ok so i know this is prolly somewhere else in the forum, but i have failed to find it....blame the dislexia. Anyways, i have a 1990 240 fast back and was wondering if any ka (91-94) will bolt to the 1990 trans without any problems or what not. Once again i know this is prolly covered on here but i couldn't find it.

Re: ka trans compadibility Q

...you want the DOHC rather than the engine you already have? what's the reason for that? really like KA's? or do you not have an engine?

Re: ka trans compadibility Q

he has a bad SOHC tranny and wants to know if the DOHC will work because it will probably be a lot easier to find, and cheaper...

Re: ka trans compadibility Q

from what I remember the ka24de and the ka24e have the same bell housing on the tranny. I even think that the wiring harness will plug up but I'm not sure about that part
