Re: keyless entry programing

Jump the (ALDL) Assembly Line Diagnostic Link. You will find this connector under the driver side dash, but you will have to look through a square cut out in the panel to see the connector, it is recessed behind that panel, almost directly under the steering column. It should look like this;
_________|________
[F] [E] [D] [C] [b] [A]
[G] [H] [J] [K] [L] [M]

Jumper pin A to pin G with a fused jumper (3A)
Doors will lock and unlock
Press the UNLOCK button on the remote
Doors should lock and unlock again
if you have more remotes press their unlock button (up to 4)
remove jumper wire

Thanks very much for this instruction !
I bought a 92 PA this year, but the remote was missing. So I bought one on ebay "with free progamming instructions", but they sent me the wrong one, it showed a 16 pin instead of a 12 pin. Luckely I found this great forum here & now it works fine !

Thanks for the feedback! "I love it when a plan comes together".
How many miles or KM does your car have? Was it originally purchased in Germany, or was it imported?

Re: Re: keyless entry programing

I bought it used this april, it is an european version with KM counter and the "euro" lights (orange turn signals on the rear etc.) . It has 202579 KM now, I drove about 10000 KM myself since april and it runs great (except some small fixings).
I tried to post a picture, but it did'nt work the first time, hope I will figure out how to the next days...

At the top of this page you will see "Gallery". Click on that and log in, then you will see upload photos. Follow instructions to upload, then open your gallery, and double click on the pic. When it pops up, copy and paste the link to your signature or, you can just copy it to your post. You might have to "crop" & resize the pic to get it small enough.
