Re: How to get Fog Lights to stay on with High Beams???

Stand in front of your car w/ the fogs and headlights on, now turn your brights on, your fogs will turn off.

Yeah, I know...what i meant was, IF I had aftermarket fogs, i wouldn't switch them off when i turned my brights on. i would just turn my brights off when another car was comming..

either way, it's still only 4 lights at a time.

Hey Jake, I recall you said you lived in Georgia so the fog lights do come in handy there. Where I live now they are worthless, just running lights. BTW - I have never seen or heard of anyone getting a ticket for running their fog lights so it's probably not a big issue with law enforcement.

I used to live in Marietta (Cobb County) back in the 80s. Both of my sons were born there. My oldest was accepted into GA Tech in Atlanta a few years ago but also he was accepted into USMA, West Point, NY and went that route instead. I still miss the Atlanta area.

Re: How to get Fog Lights to stay on with High Beams???

Yeah, especially during the fall season when we get a lot of fog. but even when we don't have fog, I like the visibilty I get from the fogs. <--read that really fast five times

I see what knight58 is saying though, I just don't understand the logic of the law...you not supposed to have brights on when another car is approaching (500 yds or so i believe), so why make a law saying no other lights can be on if the brights are on, why would it matter? ...crazy legal system...

Bob, that's interesting about your son, I graduated from GA Tech Dec. of last year. West Point huh...hows he doing there? Tough school from what I hear.

I would never have figured out you were a GA Tech alumnus. Go Yellow Jackets!

West Point is a tough school. Hard to get into. They teach you how to be a rocket scientist and at the same time a soldier. It's the equivalent a $300K scholarship plus he gets $800 a month stipend not to mention all military benefits. He's an upperclassman now and manager of the Corps Squad (Varsity) mens swim team. Bad part is he can't have his car up there until next year but I'm getting his '02 Alero GL2 ready for that area of New York. He wants me to install Blazertech 2200 or 3200 due to the heavy fog there. Without good lighting you may run into the Headless Horseman...lol.
