Re: lookin for a descent body kit

Most of my searchings when I first got my car was for exterior stuff so if you check my little black j-body book thread at the top of the main cavalier page you should find alot of stuff in there for yourself to check through.

Yours is a 3 speed? Hell well that changes things. Nope it wont work with the 3 speed tranny for some reason.

Why does it matter? If you want to get technical that O/T tidbit about shift plus turns it into performance so stop being so anal.

Re: lookin for a descent body kit

i'd say performance is all mentality. anyone learning anything here today makes them better, but add the mind that pushes backward and it's nothing.

if you really wanted this to be about performance, maybe you should have brought in your own performance related thinking.

Re: lookin for a descent body kit

explain to me how a body kit is for performance. Noting for the jbodies that i know of is windtunnel tested for better downforce, not made to lighten up the car and so on. There just for apperance, thats why i asked why this was in performance.

Re: lookin for a descent body kit

How about everyone chill out and let the moderators do the moderating.

-No more post-jacking, you want to talk to one particular member, we have a PM system that works great.
-No more flaming. Wrong forum, one person states it, enough said.

Man it would be nice if the members here were a bit more friendly.

Anyway, like PsychoJJ said, browse through the site listed in the Little Black J-Body Book, most will carry body kits. Try to stay away from fiberglass if your car is a driver, urethane is much more durable.

Re: lookin for a descent body kit

it's alright, i know now i was wrong. i was just trying to say there are possibly more productive ways to bring about change, not that i really knew of any.

aside from that, when i first read your post i thought you were talking about the shift plus... which now seems stupid.

Re: lookin for a descent body kit

didn't mean to make people angry. having failed that, this is my stop.

and besides, it looks like the originator of this post didn't even stick around long enough for any answers.
