Door Locks on '95 LHS

This is my first visit to this site. I am having trouble with the electric door lock on the driver's door on my '95 LHS. The other 3 door locks work fine. When I press the button on the keyless entry remote, the driver's door lock makes a "whirring" noise and usually will not lock or unlock. (Ocassionally, it works properly.) My son took the door panel off but could not figure out how to get to the lock motor. Does anyone have a solution for this situation?

The door lock actuator is part of the door latch..... Go to the dealer or junk yard and buy a new one

That would be correct, pull off the Door Panel, disconnect the wire to the Lock actuator, all the linkages from the Handles (inside and outside), Lock Cylinder, Lock Button, remove the torx screws around the latch (T-30 size I think) then pick it up from the bottom of the inside of the door!

Most junk yards will not let you remove the latch from a good door, and they most likely won't swap new for old either, but if the door skin is dented in a bit and the latch is still good then they will let you buy them as the door isn't saleable.
