Well, sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your car.

I think I know whats happening in your situation though, especially since the shop and dealer "share" lots, lol. I would say those guys are not replacing anything for ya. They're thinking, young kid, he won't ever know the difference...and you get the picture.

I'd say when you took the car in to get the rear end replaced, you got nothing more then a fluid change. They probably tore it down, cleaned it up, and was done with it. Sent you a near $900 bill and was out nothing more then 2 bottles of rear end grease and their time.

That's just my guess.
