Engine/Tranny overhaul and upgrade...HELP!
So my baby, Natalie, has 202k and change, and she's a good car, so I figure I owe her a rebuild. And then I got to thinking that as longs as she's getting rebuilt, might as well do some serious upgrades. After about a month of research, I've got a list that I think might work, consisting of stuff like an increase of displacement to roughly 3.6L, an intercooled centrifugal S/C @12 psi, ported and polished heads, intake plenums and exhaust manifolds (maybe custom headers), a 2.5" stainless exhaust, MSD DIS-4 ignition system, the sequential fuel injection system off a 1994 3.1L VIN M (L82) V-6, a 125hp shot of nitrous oxide and have it all run by a MoTeC model 880 EMS. I was also thinking of converting to an INTENSE Motorsports 4T65E HD Race transaxle fitted with a Quaife ATB differential. I know that all of this will probably cost around $15,000-$20,000, but I love my car and have no life. So I was wondering if anyone has any idea of the kind of work it'll take to mount up a 4T65E HD in place of my 4T60E OD or if it'll just mount up. Since Natalie will have a new ECU, I'm not worried about the wiring just yet, I just want to know if the swap is feasible.
Any help would be much appreciated... |

OK, first off, how dare you call me stupid for something I want to do to MY car with MY money. Second, if you have no useful information then why did you post a reply? People like you make these kinds of forums frustrating to post in for somebody looking for information. Please don't post here if you have nothing constructive to say...
