Question Hazards Warning Flashers

Hy folks! - Bonny SSEi / 1992 - I observed that my hazard warning flahers blinks faster than the normal turns signal. All the yelow lights are Ok.
Is it normal ? My last one Bonny ( SSE 1990 ) the speed of the turns light and the hazard flash was the same. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hazards Warning Flashers

Flashers operate by interrupting the circuit when a small element is heated. The heat is created by the current flowing through the circuit to the bulbs.

When you turn the turn signals or hazards on, the element heats and opens the circuit which stops the current and the element cools enough to close again. Then the current flows, heats the element, opens, cools, closes...... and so on. Different flashers can have different rates of heating and cooling thus different flash rates.

Nothing to worry about
