Any fishermen in here?

Just curious. Just got back from doing some bass fishing and what a nice day for it too. Went with a simple slipshot hook combo with crawlers and got a few 18+ inch smallmouth. Thinking of heading back this evening to try for some walleye.

Yeah, I fish some. Last I went was Monday (before classes). No luck though. Just had some salmon eggs. I got some mini-marshmallows and going to get some worms and go out tomorrow morning.

I'm certainly not gung ho into it, but I have fished before. I don't have a stomach for deep sea fishing by nature (unless I use a lot of Dramamine the night before, as well as the day of the fishing event), but I've enjoyed casting for mackerel off docks, and flounder fishing in bays. Although the last time I went bay fishing I got shit on by birds - three or four times - one of which was right in the head. If you've never got shit on your noggin before, I don't suggest giving it a try.

Now how's that for a fishing story?

When I lived in Mass I used to be on a boat off of Gloucester (made famous by perfect storm).

I am not the best or most fanatical fisherman out there, but I sure enjoy getting out on the water and fighting those bass. Once fall gets here and the salmon are running - it'll be time to break out the big tackle.
