Anything that has carbon fiber is necessarily faster. A carbon fiber tank is lighter than the Evo, too. Or, not. They're entirely different cars.

Besides, the 4g63 Eclipse is based off of the same 4g chasis. In a head-on competition, I don't see it having a chance.

From a production standpoint, Mitsu would be unlikely to issue two cars that would compete against each other. At this point, the Evo is seen as more of a sport performer, and I doubt the AWD 'clipse would be marketed against that. More likely, it would be marketed as something lesser. They're hot, I'd rock it, but even if it happens, it won't be marketed as an Evoish car.

my god. i think it looks great. it does share a lot of evo-ish qualities, and i do see some 350z in there, but i also see 2G in the roof and hatch shape... i'd definately buy it for the right price.

If it is every produced (), I can't see them letting the Ralliart Edition go for under 30k. My questions is, would they put a 4g63 in more trim levels than just the Ralliart? Or would they stay with the current engine line up and just make this a special exception?

I really don't see this a competiton for the evo, I think a lot of people ae turne off of the evo by the 4-door sedan look of it (personally i like it) I think this would open an entirely new market for mistu and make them more of a competitor to companies like nissan and mazda. Has anyone else noticed that the 4 main turbo cars avalible now are all 4-door? (evo, wrx, sti, srt4) in fact i can't think of any 2-door turbo cars in a resonable price range.
