Questions about 81 amc station wagon
i was wondering if 4x4 81 station wagons came with v8s or 4 bangers, also i was wondering if they had leaf springs in the front and rear or if its coil springs

Thats the AMC Eagle wagon.
They had coils in front and leaves in the back. Almost all came with the AMC 258 straight six. Some may have had a GM built 2.5 liter 4cyl, but I have never seen any. IMO swapping in an AMC v8 would be possible, but none were made with a v8.
