My Wife has Just Purchased a Carnival here in Australia.

We were aware of the Kia's problems and have chosen carefully. Our's is a 2003 Model, Burgendy in colour. It has very low Kilometers (43,000) I don't know how far that is in Miles.

If it starts giving us problems well just sell it on. The engine problems seem to only plague pre2003.

I was hoping there might be more Kia people in here.

Bronze.

2002 Sedona/Carnival

My wife and I own a 2002 model that she drives our kids with. We bought it new and our warranty is good for 10 years or 100,000 miles. We only have 70,000 miles on it now, but we have yet to see a serious problem with it. We had one oil leak that was just a bad gasket. Spark plugs were changed out early under warranty, but we haven't changed them since. It's a great van for the money and very safe our family.
