1. Using a suitable jumper wire, connect the jumper between terminal 12 and terminal 16 of the Diagnostic connector (see diagram) in the engine compartment. Note: On some vehicles, the diagnostic connector is rotated 180 degrees from our diagram. Please use the connector number mapping on the diagram above, but it may help to cut out the diagram and place it next to your connector for proper orientation and mapping.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. 3. Press the LOCK button of the first transmitter two times. 4. If you have more than one transmitter, press the LOCK button on each transmitter two times. 5. Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and pull the key out of the ignition. 6. Disconnect the jumper wire from the Diagnostic connector. 7. Test each transmitter’s LOCK and UNLOCK operation. If successful, the buzzer will sound for approximately one second. |
