front turn signal assemblies for 240SX
My son just put a GP-1 full body kit from Aerotrends on his 1992 240sx 2-dr. coupe.
The problem is that the stock front turn signals do not fit - Aerotrends doesn't seem to know either. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what front turn signal assemblies will fit this? I have been told probably/maybe the one's from a 1989 coupe will fit, but I don't know. Someone else said they'd have to be JDM, but I don't know what to look for on the net. I am desperate now because the car has to be legal so that he can take his drivers test - surely someone else has had this problem?

you know, i think its still legal if you just strap the bulbs in there somehow i dont think it has to have a lens around it, as long as it still blinks. temporary solution, i know, but better than nothing.

Thanks, but State Hwy. Patrol says "No go" on that idea. So until I can find the correct turn signal assemblies, the son will have to wait to take his drivers test. This is because it is a 5-speed & that is the only car he is comfortable driving. P.S> Know anyone looking for a front and back stock bumper from a 92' 240sx 2-door coupe?

He doesn't even have his license yet and he's already modding his car? (Well fake modding cause bodykit on otherwise stock car = teh gay.)
And it's the turn signals from the 89-90 that will fit, or the S13 Silvia, same turn signals.

Yeah, maybe = (teh gay), but these kids today, ya know? Anyways he's having fun with it and keeps him out of trouble (so far). Appreciate very much your recommendations on the turn signals. By the way, sweet ride ya got. Would it make ya feel better to know that I also have a black 92' 240sx convertible - all stock except the rims & I do not plan any mods on mine. I'm gettin to old for all that.

just to try and get some things straight on the gp-1 body kit...does it look like this?
 if so you can just pick up some clear turn signals like mine for like 50 bucks off of ebay...they are the older 89-90 lights.

I went to the site and looked at it's the 89-90 rectangular turn signals. And thanks, I love my car, I actually wanted a convertible, I love drop tops, but also wanted 5 speed.

hm thats interesting how you have to have the lens... for awhile i was rocking a zip tied bulb in there because, as far as i can tell, someone jacked my drivers side front turn signal, it was just gone one day, with the bulb still there.... i was like WTF. i guess it is really easy to steal theres just one screw and you can get at it from the front....lame ass turn signal stealers.
