b18a1 into a 95 civic HELP HELP
i'm swaping a b18a1 from a 91 integra ls into a 95 civic and i have both complete cars and needed to know what i needed to do the swap. both engones are out of the car. ready to go. i know i need mounts and wasn't sure on what else i needed.

Hi I did the same swap. 91 B18 into 95 hatch. I used the same mounts where the timing belt is also the same at the trans.(slightly modified) but the fire wall mount has to have a mount from the Vtech twin cam Del sol... My problem now is I cant get it to start. the B18 ran perfect in the acura now wont turn over in the civic...

I hope you are still there... I have all your answers here. Ready? If you can't do it yourself have someone take the gutts out of the distributor of the 95 civic and put them into the distributor housing of the B18.
The reason for this is the 91 acura is OBD0 and the 95 civic is OBD1. if you do this you would be able to use the same wire harness from the civic. I know because I just got miny identical swap running yesturday (11-8-05) hit me back. |

why dont you just get a distributer from a 94 or 95 integra would be alot easyer thats what i did on my friend civic
