Red face head unit reseting itself

ok, I know how to enter a code on my stock system, so I don't need help with that. getting pretty good at it too. I have a 2002 eclipse gt, and the head unit keeps going haywire and reseting itself, and then it goes to CODE. has anyone had this problem, or know what might cause it? any help is appreciated! thanks

agreed. it sounds like the headunit keeps losing power. make sure its grounded correctly and that the power wires are connected securly.

Is it just your head unit losing power, or does your clock also reset. If it does than your batter is probably shot (that should have been obvious because you would have kept having to jump your car)
