Re: 6th gen Civic Si: worthy of redemption from 5th gen Si?

Turbo, turbo, turbo, Honda's don't necessarily take well to turbo's...you have to actually do some work to make the Honda block turbo ready...Yes SRT-4's have turbo upgrades, but the car came ready to handle tons of boost

Honda engines are engineered for fuel economy with hp, the company really doesn't believe in boost because of the added fuel it takes...That doesn't mean you can't boost it, it just means it doesnt come turbo ready, and is a little more fragile when your boosting

But to be honest with you, I would be extremely happy with a 1992+ civic, with an B18c1 in it, and suspension, and braking upgrades giving me performance, and handling without the addedd weight, and good fuel economy
